Welcome to the Ark Aid Street Mission ... offering a hand UP not a handout. x

The New School of Color

The New School of Colour is a free and open art studio in London ON, Canada, which serves the needs of community members who are dealing with issues of poverty, affordable housing, mental health, at-risk youth and the newly immigrated.

The New School of Colour is a safe social space of creativity . Jeremy Jeresky teaches participants the ways of looking at and making art. Yet, more often than not, participants of the NSOC also teach each other.

Safe Haven

After several months of volunteering at The Ark Aid Street Mission, a soup kitchen located in London Ontario’s East Village, it became clear to us that the image often associated with people living in low income situations couldn’t be farther from the truth.
We set out to change that by making this short documentary, which looks at the people, the services, and the stories that make up The Ark.
